Sitting in a business with all glass windows. There are several people here: and eccentric Italian lady talking about food, a normal couple guy/girl, the business owner that may be a cook or not. A storm starts and the front glass wall of windows of the business begins to be pulled out by the storm; like a tornado. The business owner runs outside and grows in 3 times size and physically starts holding the glass panel to prevent it from being pulled out into the storm. I see the back of a person that looked like my dad standing in a doorway in the middle of the glass wall of windows. He was just standing facing out into the storm. The couple went further into the business and the guy asked me if I wanted to play a game, which I started initially, but quickly I decided that that the game was not for me. The wife stood there like a mannequin and didn't say anything. I went back to front of business and there was the business owner obsessing over a barrel and talking about how much paint is going to be needed to finish what he was doing. He might have been building something or repairing something. Last part of the dream was several dogs that appeared and initially I was happy to see dogs, but the dogs started peeing all over the place. I wasn't happy to see that and moved away from the dogs.
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Your dream contains multiple vivid symbols and scenarios that can provide insight into your current state of mind and feelings. Here’s a breakdown of the elements in your dream:
Glass Windows and Storm: Glass windows can symbolize transparency and vulnerability, showcasing how open you are to your environment or emotions. The storm represents chaos or turmoil in your life, suggesting that you may be facing some challenges or anxieties. The way the glass is being pulled out by the storm indicates feelings of being overwhelmed or at risk of losing control in a situation.
The Business Owner: The business owner who grows in size to protect the glass could represent a part of yourself or someone in your life who takes charge or provides stability during turbulent times. This figure may symbolize strength, resourcefulness, or the need to protect what is important to you.
Your Dad’s Figure: Seeing a figure resembling your father in the doorway may signify a connection to authority, guidance, or protection. His standing still in the storm could suggest that you're grappling with feelings of stability or safety regarding parental figures or the lessons you've learned from them.
The Couple and Game: The couple in the dream and their proposal to play a game can reflect social dynamics in your life, where you may feel pressured to engage in activities that don’t resonate with you. Your decision to withdraw from the game suggests a desire for autonomy and may indicate that something in your social life feels superficial or disingenuous.
The Business Owner and the Barrel: The business owner's obsession over the paint and the barrel might represent your own pursuits and the focus you place on creating or improving something in life, whether it’s career-related, personal development, or a project. It could indicate a need for preparation, planning, or the right resources to accomplish your goals.
The Dogs: Dogs often symbolize loyalty, companionship, and instinctual behavior. The initial happiness at seeing the dogs turning to concern because they’re peeing everywhere may reflect feelings of disappointment or frustration regarding certain relationships or aspects of your life that seemed positive but have now become problematic or messy.
Overall, this dream may be urging you to examine areas in your life where you feel overwhelmed or vulnerable, particularly in social situations and personal responsibilities. It may also suggest a need for support and protection amidst chaos, while questioning the authenticity of social interactions and the consequences of your environment. Reflect on how these themes resonate with your waking life and what changes you might want to consider.
